That llandow lap is false. This is the seat 280 with dsg and that llandow lap is with a manual car the dsg would be quicker. That needs changing. And for the people saying the type r is faster in a straight line, it is against a manual car but not the dsg, this is dsg cupra

It's so tragic. Drive a Type R and heads will turn. Drive the Seat, and no-one will even look. Only the 1% who know their cars will know what a dark horse the Seat is.

The Seat wins most track battles AND straight line speeds! WHY OH WHY did SEAT not make the Cupra more dashing to look at! Just to get side skirts you have to specify Sub8 pack!

The Seat has slightly higher track performance points than the Type R. The Type R has slightly higher straight line performance because the top speed is LIMITED on the seat... The Seat is actually faster to 200kph. Very close between both cars, clearly the Civic is not faster than its FWD hatch rivals like we were lead to believe when honda released "the ring" video with its modified car.

I have just watched the Auto Express video of the Llandow lap, and the Type R BEAT the Seat with a time of 46.5,NOT 47.5.!!
