Oh so motortrend do all their lap time tests at full fuel tanks. That would explain some of the discrepancies of factory times and theirs (Laguna seca viper ACR)

I think every M or # Series Bmw should have its own parts, Engine/tyres/brakes etc, Bespoke to there own, Same with power/torque figures, ANd they should look different, I swear German cars are all looking the same today?
And yea, The Camaro should have its own stuff to its self, A Corvette is Chevys pride and joy, Why put it in a car thats "Less'? Not less but not a Vette, Hell the new Camaro has 5bhp and 10lb ft less with the same engine...tf? I no there different cars, But cmon, The world has enough cars with Corvette engines in it, The Camaro has earned the right to its own unique engine, And Chevrolet knows how to build a good engine.
Chevrolet also says the new 1LE will kick the shite out of the GT350....Wonder if its the same for the M4?...

Well I heard that the M3/4 are actually very different underneath the skin than regular 3/4 series. They practically had to redesign everything to get that kind of performance, making them actually to be quite the bargain.
A Camaro however, gets a handed down engine from the Vette (which isn't a bad thing) but the crude weight and design is just gut wrenching. You just feel it's a corvette that is so much heavier and so much harder to live with (size, visability)

I dont really care which one i would take, It goes either way for me. But think luxury is extremely subjective, Hell give me a good soundtrack, Comfy seats, Leg room, And thats luxury to me. Although, On a higher note, I really wish Chevrolet would develop there own engine for the Camaro, The lineup is almost 50 years old, It deserves its own parts, Not ones from the Corvette, Thats really my biggest gripe with the Camaro.
The M4...I like that they bought back the I6, (Heritage) But IMO that engine is lacking in this type of M car, And all optioned out this car is hugely expensive, But just like the Cam, It deserves its own parts to, And not to just be a coupe 3 series.

It looks like there is a Head2Head coming soon between these two. I'm excited... Also, I'd love to see them throw a new Mustang track-pack into the mix(or maybe a the new GT350)!
