Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs McLaren 650 S

Once again the European is the dragster and the American the track car.

That was for Piorun BTW. And I also disagree with the C6 Z06 not being a driver's car. Like wth?

These two certainly compete in performance terms. And don't bring in the argument about price difference since a big part of the corvettes appeal is it much lower price compared to other supercars. If it was priced the same as the McLaren it wouldn't even sell. I hate it when people bring in price difference in a performance comparison.

...Did you actually call a C6 ZO6 NOT a drivers car?...And the track performance WASNT there?...And Not reliable?..

I honestly dont no how to respond, Its interior want the best, I certainly had no problems with it whatsoever, I didnt see a problem, But Thats quite subjective(As everything else is)

But no ca is for everybody, The ZO6, In all forms has always punched far above its level.

IMO C6 Z06 even with its track performance wasnt quite there. Ofcourse it was fast, but it wasnt so refined. It wasnt too much reliable, it has pretty bad interior, but the most it wasnt realy a driver's car. It was closer to Viper in terms of handling. So it wasnt for everybody. This was a wild car.

So ok, it was cheaper, but it wasnt as good overall.
This one with C7 all that has changed. And that is NEW.
This is second car after GT-R which did that, or will propably do, if we want be precise. And propably do it little better than Nissan beceause of more exotic look and engine.

My initial tought was that comparasion is shite beceause this are 2 diffrent cars from 2 diffrent price segments, but then i realize that new C7 Z06 actualy can be performance competitor to supercar segment like McLaren 650S, Ferrari Speciale, 991 Turbo/GT3, Lambo Huracan/Aventador.
Its right there with those cars for 1/3, 1/4 of the price.

Interesting? Meh, We all know the outcome in acceleration, And we all no the outcome on a track.

This is the most interesting competition for the mighty Z06 that I can think of right now. I think the McLaren is faster!
