I drove the Z06 c6 at Laguna Seca in a Road and Track event and it was awesome as were the Lotus, the Ford GT and the F430. I purchased the 2015 C7 Z51 with MSRC and I will compare. The suspension on the C7 is noticeably tighter and the handling is flatter. The C6 was noticeably quicker but not by a large margin. About as simple as that.

Try that with the 2011 Model.

The C7 Z51 blows the Z06 away on the track. Not even close.

The tests were done with almost 10 years of diference! If they compare even the standart C6 Z06 with the C7 stingray today the results would be in favor of the Z! The tires and even the tarmac alone went trough major improvements!

Ah, then it's not a fair comparison. But still, C7 is faster at Laguna Seca.

Very impressive, I think I'll compare the C7 to the C6 Z06 Z07.

Impressive... (BTW, does anybody know C6 Z06 VIR laptime was GM's or Car'n'Driver's?)... A base 60k C7 is faster than the 75k C6 Z06... How to hell is that possible?!?... C7 can't be that cheap for what it is! In addition, considering inflation!

I think C7 must have cost up to 70k already in US market. Otherwise, what's the explanation? I have an impression that GM intentionally sets such a low price list for the C7 for marketing purposes, but actually the car is worth more to built. Don't they lose money manufacturing each C7?

I'm afraid of what a bargain the next C7 Z06/Z07 will be...
