When I drove this , it wasn't the car I thought it would be. It was much,much better and feels faster than these times.

@BR2
As I said. :)

@ BR2+: Yup, that's why the 5.5 liter displacement sounds familiar to me.

Damn, that Epitome looks just disgusting, it reminds me very much Veneno... and for 2 millions... I don't think anybody willing spend that money on this messed up Corvette. Especially when people are spending millions on car, they look more on the badge of the car they are buying, rather than true characteristics... I don't think Laraki will success...

However, this Fulgura looks pretty impressive. I'd love to see it selling round the world for a reasonable price.

Not happening, Failed 3 times in the past, I don't see anything to come from this company, especially at $2,000,000.

User avatar

lafars  12y ago

diseno-art kind of lampshades the problem too:

"Laraki say they only plan on building nine examples of the Epitome, each costing $2 million. But as this is the third time the company has tried to get a supercar into production, don’t start writing those checks just yet."

This 1.750 hp Laraki Epitome reminds me pretty much of an Aston Martin One 77 with the heck of a McLaren MP4 12C. But it will not reach production since Laraki resolved in 2008. I wonder why they still design concepts as a non-existent Company...

One of the best cars to ever come out of Morocco.Not many people know that sterling Moss has one! I could not get near it on the Ring in my F430 scud.

Fangio Man  12y ago

It went in production in 2003.

The Fulgara V8 had a Lamborghini engine.
Price: ca. 320.000€

A V12 version was also available for 400.000€.
The V12 was from AMG.
