My car was silver, what I can say is that the car handled well on tracks. Took it to Nurburgring in 1992 but took it easy on those first trips, got a private session with Edgar D¸hren himself :-) Drove it hard around Europe many times, solid car and a lot of fun!

The propaganda story about Ferdinand Porsche inventing the Beetle is one side of the medal. The other is about a *** named Josef Ganz which had the same idea a few years earlier. His design of the "Standard Superiors" looks striking similar to the beetle.
