There are rumors about new Lancer EVO with Megane RS turbo engine plus electric motor(s) with brand new 4wd system.

Mathematics don't explain everything and a double clutch isn't the saving grace of accelerating. I had one of these right on my Jacksy all the way round Silverstone and I couldn't shake him off,mate.

ImpossibleEvo  13y ago

How can a stock (without a dual clutch to boot) EVO run 0-100 MPH / 0-160 km/h in 11.5 seconds?

This is mathematically impossible. Maybe tuned - or if it was an FQ, but stock - absolutely impossible.

Its a shame Mitsubishi didnt give these more power. Always the same power level through out the generations with the exception of a few limited edition tuners.

Personally I like the looks better than a GTR. I\'d have to have the grill painted to match.. I hate all the modern cars with black plastic grills, they look unfinished. Back in the 90\'s if your mitsubishi had black trim.. it was because you got the cheap base model.

I think Lancer Evo V Gsr is more fashionable than Ex

User avatar

how many secs does the evo 10 can do when it comes to 0 - 60 mph?

User avatar

Apathy  16y ago

@Anonymous.

Since when do stock EVO IX's run 12.6's?

User avatar

Apathy  16y ago

The technical car name for the EVO X in America (and nearly everywhere else) is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. GSR is a trim level for the EVO X. I don't know why someone put the GSR before EVO X for the car's name.

In US, we just call this car "EVO X"

@Anonymous
Makes sense if you compare HP of Evo IX which is in the range of 300-320. 280 HP is Japan's voluntary limit and isn't always true. Compare torque from EvoV to EvoIX and you'll understand what I am talking about.

User avatar

Anonymous  18y ago

When you compare this with the EVO IX 206kw it has more power although is heavier has a better power to weight ratio does 160km in 12.5sec the EVO IX 12.8 bu the EVO IX quarter mile is 12.6 and this 13.4. this makes no sense
