There is no excuse not to own a Lamborghini these days. Everyone should be able to afford one:

@BR2
Countach looks much better in real life, like almost every other car. I made the same experience the day before yesterday when I saw one in Sinsheim and yesterday when I saw a Ferrari F12 on the Autobahn. First I did not like the F12s design but afterwards, well, I like it. If you get blind when you see a picture of it (:D), wait until you actually saw one. I guess it would look much better in your eyes then...

@ BR2+: Like Fangio Man said, it's a matter of taste, the Countach is not the most beautiful car in the world, and some people may even say it's ugly, be that as it may, you still can't deny the car's significance, this car helped make all of Lamborghini's full size flagships, IMO; Diablo, Murcielago, Reventon, and Aventador possible.

No, I'm sure the number is close to 94-98% of people. Maybe not everyone calling it the most beautiful, but one of the coolest and most epic - that's right. I'm sure: the only people who hate this car are some aggressive Ferrari fanboys (who hate on Countach and any other Lamborghini just because of Ferrari; but stand that Countach alone, and they would at least consider it a cool supercar), the others, IMO, are just vandals, who don't appreciate the art.
And still, the design is very futuristic. If not this car, there will be no Diablo, no Murcielago, no Gallardo, no Aventador, no successor of the Aventador... no Lamborghini at all. This car and Miura made Lamborghini in business.
And not just this epic design! The whole car is just magnificent! The big fire-spitting V12, the interior, the feeling! And unlike modern Lambos, Countach is RWD and has a manual tranny. An ultimate dream car.
As for me, Countach easily comes to top 25 best cars EVER MADE.

Well, it does not look beautiful but cool. And that is something. I do not understand why you do not like it.

I agree with Mental and Shaggy.
The Countach is a f*cking Space ship! It looks extreme, even for nowadays.
