I wonder why the 1/4mile time is so bad?!
there are cars with less than 200hp and same weight that can do better like g29 20i 14.6s. The 3.0i e85 has 231 hp and can do 14.0.
toyota mr2 with only 145hp/t and lower hp/CdA 15.8s

There is no factual 1/4 mile time here. What you see with marked with "est" are estimates. And they are based on whatever actual data we have. Sometimes, especially for older cars, this data may be sub-optimal. For newer cars there are multiple outlets testing them and best data across them all is used for estimates.

My 13 years old standard BMW Z4 3.0si Coupé with automatic gearbox is not the only Z4 QP which is faster as declared: 0-62 mph / 0-100 km/h = 4.9 sec.

Very good car, it is nicer to live with that more track oriented Z4M. Have more usefull torque. Stylish is very good, its light and agile. Not so well balanced as Cayman but, it for sure look better and is better to play with beceause its more scary (for some people)
But styling in first place, balance between being art and man's weapon.
New Z4 is overstyled, its so "good" and so soft that it become hairdresser car.
