This car was also known as the Honda Civic Si in the US... I wonder why Honda was so much more conservative in the US...

In the U.S kids your age in Hondas are a huge joke. We already did that for you. The Cobalt SS is faster in every way for the same price. It accelerates much quicker and is faster around a track.

Arguing about this car being faster than other cars in its price range is pretty pointless. Its like saying the suzuki swift is a great performance value because its faster than some other slow ass car for the same price.. completely pointless.

The viper lap time you are talking about the civic being 3.5 seconds behind.. notice the \"vw\" below the time. The vipers lap was set in very wet conditions. Never mind how retarded you are for even trying to compare those two cars.

The Evo FQ400 would have its ass handed to it by a corvette Z06.. which is the same price. The FQ400 is one of the most overpriced cars out there.. anyone willing to spend nearly 80k on a mitsubishi is insane. U mean the new shape clio, i missundertood thought you meant the 182 cup which is great performer for £15000

as u can see from my older post i mention i like the clio and it performs n handles pretty much da same as da type r, the type r evidently is just better built n more reliable, and as for the golf yeah u can tune it more and cheaper to tune although in the uk the golf is a fair more expensive than they civic and the clio, and i was originaly talking bowt stock car that was a gud performer for its price n to me i dnt fink u can beat civic type r n clio sport

easy answer...the Renault Clio III RS Sport is faster around the track and has similar straight line perfromance and was cheaper than the Civic Type R in 2005 (Clio 21,900Euro vs Type R 23,095Euro) and btw the 2005 Golf GTI was only slightly more expansive with 24,200Euro but much cheaper to mod thanks to it´s turbo engine

Finally some1 talking sense, it got blown out of proportion about the type r, NIN i didnt post laptimes no but like i said the type r comes 3.5seconds behind the viper round the top gear track and its infact 1.24 seconds behind it before hammer head, lets be honest your american supercars such as the corvette and viper wouldnt get close to europes everyday family performance cars like an m3 and audi rs4.

Then you got to take into consideration the value of them and compare them to the MITSUBISHI EVO 9 MRFQ 450 and NISSAN GT-R, which are far less in cost and just as good or better perfomers.

And as for the cobalt ss, the nissan pulsar gti-r has better acceleration times and was brought into production 15years earlier,
