a blue one in the hands of Tiff Needell on beautiful roads in Scotland. For sure there are better places to test the limits of this, but still a nice sight...

The version in the video doesn't have an own page here (this page seems to be the later version and the other is called 993 so also doesn't fit perfectly)

Agree, but I still see a chance for Porsche. They showed some good performance and I am optimistically they will manage to stay in front of the Audi. Atleast partially.

Toyota has a 1000 PS monster, Audi a car with high corner speed, Porsche a small efficient engine... Going to be a great race!

i love porsche, but i think my money will be on a toyota. Audi doesn't have much chance. Having less straight line speed, that means they'll have to over take cars more in the bends and braking areas... definitely more difficult and accident prone. Toyota having more power, less torque should have the advantage for tire-wear and tricky slippery conditions.

Not even 6 hours till Le Mans 2014 start...

Porsche 919 grabs Pole Position at the 6 hours of Spa!

After Porsche had a really good starting season with a 3rd place at the 6 hours of Silverstone, the drivers Neel Jani and Marc Lieb qualified 1st at Spa. Second - 0.638 seconds slower - is the Toyota of Anthony Davidson, Nicolas Lapierre and Sébastien Buemi followed by the Audi of Marcel Faessler, André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer. The second Porsche with Timo Bernhard, Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley qualified 5th.

Heres the interesting thing: it LOOKS like a racing car, but its actually a ROAD car.
Never judge a book by its cover, if you know what I mean

The 911 GT1 race version won the 24 hours of Le Mans 1998.

Why its acceleration 0-100km/h only 3.7 seconds? Its weight just 950kg.
