The 918 and P1 trap under 190mph at the full 1km mark. Someone shoot the dude

Okay, as estimations (from the specs; NOT my thoughts), this 400+hp/tonne, 670hp 599 GTO traps 190mph in a half-mile. In comparison, the 740hp F12berlinetta with very similar power-to-weight ratio traps 189, and the 800hp LaFerrari (no electric motors) whose weight is lighter with a slightly higher top speed does only 188. I don't think that makes sense at all!

I'd say on a good day the 599 GTO will pass the half-mile at about 161 mph. Even if it were to actually do 190mph the full-mile trap would be a lot higher.

A 1200hp Hennessey Venom GT apparently does 189mph. Even more strange, I found out the 600hp Mosler MT900 does 192.

no. it's because very few GTOs exist, that means less people drag race them, and less good results.

The GTB is quicker and sometimes faster than the latter because it doesn't have so much downforce, and it's not a very light car like the GTO. Like the base GT-R vs the Nismo.
