Okay, as estimations (from the specs; NOT my thoughts), this 400+hp/tonne, 670hp 599 GTO traps 190mph in a half-mile. In comparison, the 740hp F12berlinetta with very similar power-to-weight ratio traps 189, and the 800hp LaFerrari (no electric motors) whose weight is lighter with a slightly higher top speed does only 188. I don't think that makes sense at all!
I'd say on a good day the 599 GTO will pass the half-mile at about 161 mph. Even if it were to actually do 190mph the full-mile trap would be a lot higher.
A 1200hp Hennessey Venom GT apparently does 189mph. Even more strange, I found out the 600hp Mosler MT900 does 192.

The GTB is quicker and sometimes faster than the latter because it doesn't have so much downforce, and it's not a very light car like the GTO. Like the base GT-R vs the Nismo.
