Disagree strongly, When driving a manual car, And a car with ALOT less electronic interference then damn near every car, The driver will be a HUGE factor in in attaining acceleration times, Huge.

The more tests a car gets, the less of a factor driver becomes. Ultimately, the driver should not be a factor at all, assuming that all cars have infinite amount of tests and absolute limits of their performance have been found.
In reality its a bit of both - of course driver will be a factor in laptimes. Not so much in straight line acceleration, braking, skidpad etc.

I don't get how this works then. The 2008 viper acr gives this amg a fight also.... it beats it in track and 1/4 mile........Are we talking about the full potential of the car or car and driver???

The straight line scoring is completely off (because of so many new types of tests recently added). It needs some work.

amg gts beats viper acr under performance on every item, except for the 0-80 mph time.
