I agree with Saxy. This lap times are nothing special. The new panigale 1299 lap in 1.51. So 1.56 for Porsche 918 is incredibly slow. Even an old Ktm rc 8 (M.Y. 2009) could lap as fast. We need a race driver.

I'm pretty sure a better driver could get a lot more out of this car. But again, some times lap times are set by journalists and not racecar drivers

Another track, another record!

After seeing all the great results that 918 has in different tracks, and after seeing it beat P1 in fair competition on more than one occasion, I have little doubt it would beat P1 around TopGear track.

JC should consider himself lucky that he got fired.
