I'm still calling rubbish on 3.16 0-100kph, because AutoBild tested without rollout and especially with 10.94 0-200 time that can't happen. Maybe they meant 3.61, not 3.16? Typing error? Maybe this was done on a dragstrip and not on a prepped track?

A C7 Z06 or ZR1 can barely do that with a rollout. Normally European mags don't use dragstrips or rollouts, but it appears AutoBild is an American wolf in German sheep's clothing. 3.16 seconds, to 62 MPH?! That's around 3.00 or even 2.95 to 60 mph, and not one American mag got close to that even on optional tires, VHT-prep dragstrip, with rollout.

The C8 Stingray does 2.8-2.9 with rollout, but that car is rear-mid-engined and relies on a dual-clutch transmission, so the C6 ZR1 is not doing 3.0 without a rollout anytime soon. The best ANY American mag ever got was maybe 3.3, if not 3.2 seconds (the best a Gen5 Viper got by Car & Driver).

To add: 11.3 (with rollout, 11.0-11.1) in the ¼mile after 10.9 0-200 (with rollout, 10.6-10.7) is approximately 203-204kph finishing speed, which is 126mph. That's very telling of how a ZR1 can't manage a 3.0 0-60 time.

I will admit though, the Germans ARE better at testing American cars than the Americans are — for the most part. But AutoBild is the same mag that got an 11.4-11.5 (with rollout) at a 212kph passing speed with their non-Redeye Hellcat. Ironically, though, they got around 12.8-12.9 (with rollout, possibly at 177-183kph) with a Shelby GT350. I generally wouldn't trust that source regarding American cars and trucks.

Using Auto Bild's numbers:

¼mile in 11.3s@126mph (WITH rollout, not without)

3.4 to 60 mph (but without rollout)
translates to 3.1-3.2... but to 60...certainly not a 3.2 to 62 mph

Corvette ZR1 second run > 0-300 in 27.62 seconds
Porsche 911 Turbo S (530 PS) > 0-300 in 30.91 seconds
Ferrari 458 Spider > 0-300 in a bit more than the 911 (around 31-32 seconds)
Corvette ZR1 first run > 0-300 in 32.02 seconds
Nissan GT-R (530 PS) > 0-300 in 37 seconds flat

Had to use translator cause I'm not the best French speaker. They said the R8 was lacking in power and it came third in the race with the GT-R and the ZR1. I assume it was somewhere in the range of 37-39 seconds 0-300.

Track length was about 3.5 km

This car was so ahead of its time. It was fast on track, fast in a straight line, was extremely driver focused before everything was made for laptimes like DCT's, super sticky rubber and ridiculous aero. Even with a 6 speed manual, it was just over 1s slower than the C7 ZR1 at Laguna Seca, which had much MUCH more aero, much more power, stickier tires. So impressive

Who added these numbers?
It'd be this fast without a supercharger...
Take a look at youtube videos and you'll see it does 0-200 in 9.5 0-250 under 15 seconds and 0-300 under 25 seconds. And even these numbers are rounded the **** up.
You won't find one video on youtube where the ZR1 produces such terrible numbers.

This seems to be in standard setup the 2:45,6 was done with Cup ZP option tires (most extreme at that time) and some aftermarket equipment (seat, harness) that was officially installed for safety reasons, but a racing bucket seat also improves laptimes as we also know from some Nürburgring times

If chevy beefed up the aero and downforce a bit, lightened the car about 200 lbs, and gave it next gen sport cup 2 tires this zr1 would be much faster around a track than supercars today including the new zr1.
