As far i know new R8 i dont like it too much.
Audi is know for slow evolution in design rather than revolution, but this is too much. It look almost like new TT, its so predictable.
R8 is enough long on the market. From 2008? Thats 7 years. And they doesnt change it too much... that boring.
The only hope is that they will fuse the best part of Huracan and old R8. THat mean it will be fast like a Lambo but much more fun, with more tend to oversteer from current R8.
That combined can bring us pretty fust and playable vehicle.
But imo it will be hard to surpass even the 991 Turbo S.
Yes it will be diffrent: mid engined, with NA V10, so propably more exciting. But not as fast or comfortable.
I see it chances as being playable and comfy Huracan. Which is a good thing, we will see.

Heres a new shot of the New R8
Okay so its a damned teaser, sue me, But still, Im glad they didnt change it too much while sticking to its style, Cant say how much, But prolly more like a 997 to 991 type of change. The V10 version which may be called S, Will use the Huracans engine but with less Bhp and prolly torque, The V8 version, I duno the stats though, But Bhp figures could be 500Bhp, They may be aiming for the AMG GTS and GT3, Or Carrera GTS and Stingray, Sadly no manual option, But im quite looking forward to it.

@Flabernat
Well actually... that's not true ;)
There was 5.0 V10 in the originqal Gallardo.
Facelifted (LP-560, LP-570 etc) Gallardo uses 5.2 V10 Audi engine.
The 5.0 TT V10 from the RS6 C6 is also a diffrent engine (90% of the people think that it's borrowed from Lamborghini.. most of them even think that it's 5.2 litre V10).

The best looking car in the world. Much faster than gay bmw m3 lexus or shitty new viper. Besides, Audi costs more, so it get more prestige. You probably can't afford anyway poor losers.

If you want to drive a GT-R faster than 180 kph, you have to visit a race track. The navigation system turns off the speed limiter and you can drive faster until you have left the track and be back on road again.
(Thereabouts)
Were not the Skyline and the Supra limited to 180 kph, in Japan, too? Also, as far as I know imported Skylines and Supras are, here in Germany, normally, restricted at 245/250 kph.
