It should be noted that, while it is street legal, the Nitto NT555R that the Super Snake comes with is a drag radial. One of the best on the market, in fact(and I'm not just saying that because I've bought a couple pairs). And the Super Snake needs them, because there's no "normal" high-performance tire around that can handle that kind of power and torque all going through the rear wheels, I don't care how much glue is on the strip.

Yes and yes! It wasnt long ago I worried we had seen the last of the muscle car wars when the camaro/trans-am got taken out of production.
Now even the base model V6 versions are impressive compared to cars of 10 years ago. GM/Ford have really stepped up their game in the past years.
Ford went all out in several categories and they built the car for 'every' consumer. Just want a seriously powerful cruiser? Buy the base version. Want an overweight track monster that will likely kill you? Get the track package. Ford really went over the top this time.
I don't care if it's a Ford or a Chevrolet either. The competition between the camaro and mustang is just leading to better and better cars. The consumer wins in the end. Let the horsepower wars wage on.
Now everyone knows why Ford chose the Nardo ring out in Italy. Here in the states, we just dont have a track with a long enough straight.
