Technically the redline is 6000rpm, but theoretically the fuel cut-off is at around 6350rpm where it reaches top speed.

Mercedes Benz AMG SL65 (prototype)
Top speed= 348km/h/216.237MPH!
0-300km/h= 37.3 seconds
Just when you think you've found it all a Mercedes hits just under 217MPH!
I ALWAYS rated the SL55 more. Shaking my head I never knew all this crazy stuff!! Yeah 100% knew about the Black Series but that's yet to flourish!
Keep telling you all, Benz are that good!

Auto, Motor und Sport Nardo Highspeed-Test 2004
Mercedes SL65 AMG (de-limited, but production stock)
0-100 (62 mph) kph: 3.9 sec
0-200 (124 mph) kph 12 sec
0-300 (186 mph) kph 31.9 sec
Top speed: 338 km/h (210 mph)
The Source for these would you believe was VW Vortex. LOL!
I've confirmed the top speed plus the 0-300km/h time at Zeperfs.
Unfortunately, I cannot as yet locate a scan but I'll keep looking. And the Amus website is infuriating to use.
But getting to the point this is a 'kin cool car. And I bet it costs alot less than the Mercedes SLR. Not at as quick to 200km/h but after that reels it in and seemingly matches it to 300km/h onwards.
Mercedes are incredible. Hatchback to Hypercar NOBODY touches that breadth. ;)

My fastest speed when I drive by myself is when I hit full speed of my Galaxie. It's about 150 mph but I don't much know when inside the car because it have 140 mph speedometer. However my fastest speed is 169.8 mph when my dad drive his LS6 Chevelle SS right after he bought an aftermarket transmission and clutch. I sat beside my dad while my brother on rear seat.
Fangio Man 12y ago
The fastest I have ever driven is 215 kph (134 mph), I sat on the passenger seat, my uncle was driving.

0-300 kph? This thing is restricted at 250 kph. Or was a restriction at 300 kph, or without restriction, also available for this car?

have I writen somewere that they are bad?
I only have claimed auto motor und sport is better than most US and UK magazines... they never ever publish unconfirmed laptimes like so many UK magazines(nearly all do that)...they never ever publish factory claimed laptimes driven by factory race drivers with "production" cars long befor they went into real production..etc. etc.
