McLaren MP4-12C specs

These stats are defo for a stock. I have a modified mp4 and accelaration was around 5.5 seconds from 100 to 200km. Now its modified and these numbers are now in the 4.3 range.

Price when new €200,000 - €262,311

Now they are selling for under 100,000 with many electric gremlins and other issues that require another 60,000 to fix. The back and forth maintenance McLaren that I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go near one.

Why? I don't believe those purchasing clients now particularly care?

I remember when and where I saw my first one, a white one and they have, still do incredible presence.🦁

It's just classic Myles Madden being Myles Madden. The Ferrari 488 GTB doesn't even do 10.3 on a dragstrip with rollout, and that's the 650S' competitor.

I don't think the car is stock.
It surely has wider tires (315 vs 305) the Toyo R888 that are equipping this MP4 came only with this size.

No Tom Walkngshaw Racing very heavily modified it or REDESIGNED it. Possibly completely.

So, Ricardo's REDESIGNING was from a previous English Engineering powerhouses work, in terms of the Mclaren V8 the M838T. It'd be interesting to know what specifically they did and who McLaren/Ricardo purchased the engineering patents and rights from.

So what can I say? Well don't need to say anything. We've got some of the best engineers on the planet thus engineering.

And that's not an alien concept is it? Well, not to any engineers. Where do you think SEXY metrics comes from? Mathematics is a vital cornerstone of engineering.

Even though it had its flaws, this car laid the foundation for P1, 570S and the other McLarens to come, all of which are pretty darn good.

Where is 740 PS ? I dont see it at all...My personal guess is that Mclaren is a bit underrated in power output while F12 may be (?) overrated in power.

Customers who had bought the McLaren when it was 591 hp, freely got it upgraded to the more powerful version, well at least that's what happened where I live, so I'm not sure if this page is even needed anymore

It can be stock but for sure it has far more than 600 hp.

@Viking,thanks,it has been said that in the flesh the car is far more impressive than any photo!! Mine has just come back from its platfrom 10 upgrade,this makes all the cars up to current 2013 spec with the 625ps and upgraded mapping on the gearbox.I couldnt believe another 25ps would make the car feel quicker,but with the quicker gearbox as well its now even more balistic and even tiffney dell has said its made a massive difference(he was talking about the spider,but still the same spec car).I would think the track times will fall again next season as the magazines start testing the new model year,we will see !!
