This site says the Z28 is faster, but Im still willing to bet that the Corvette is faster in the real world. 0 to 60, 1/4 mile times and highway runs. And the interesting thing is, you could probably put a set of Trofeo R tires on the corvette, and still come out cheaper than the Z28 Camaro.

Corvette, all day, everyday. As I've said before, I'm too tall to fit in a Camaro, so I'd never buy one anyway, regardless of how much I want one. I still can't fathom how Lebron James can drive an SS, has to be customized.

Not weird at all. A traditional parking brake is analog, which is always more reliable; you can trust it to keep your car where it is. But electronics have a nasty habit of failing at horrible times. All it would take is a tiny short in the system, and your car is suddenly rolling down a hill and into an intersection.

I have a feeling GM is never gonna allow any lap times between these 2 cars. lol

I would even rather have an old GTS 99 than any Camaro, but that's just me lol

I agree its hard to pass up, But id still rather have the Ray or a C6 ZO6 instead of the Z/28, Great car, But im more about looks then performance, And the thing is not what one would call a beauty, Honestly, You can have good looks and aero efficiency, Saleen S7 anyone?
Oh, And Viper T/A HANDS DOWN, Absolutley No comparison.

Well I'm going to be the odd-man-out and say, I'd rather the Z/28....
If need be, I'd have another daily driver for comfort and MPG(if I ever felt like it). But something that focused for a track day is just too tasty to pass up :)
How about this.... SRT Viper TA or Camaro Z/28?

Chevy is doing so well lately. For american sports car industry they become the leader.
Z/28 shares some technology with C7, but those are diffrent cars.
Z/28 is racing ready muscle car.
I wish that ford and Srt will starting to make so good cars in future, beceause i dont like Camaro styling.
Also stingay doesnt look too great in my eyes. its kind of mix of old corvette, with "current european standars designs" so imo its lost some of the unique design elements, and become more - for world - that for america. thats good and bad.
But even with design issues, stingray is imo better sportd car. I feel it better.
