Interestingly Motor Trend gets a 4.1 0-60 in the 420 bhp Vantage or roughly 4.3 0-100. Spoofs Auto gets 4.8 0- 100 in 430 bhp Vantage S. Uwe Sener should drive bumper cars at a second rate sausage fair.

American mags do rollouts and cut 0-60 times by 0.2-0.3 secs, but typically by 0.3 secs. Any 4.1 0-60 mph in American tests is between 4.4 and 4.8 to 100 kph in European tests, depending on its 50-60/60-70 gap.

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @hostboy

Well this is 4.1 0-100 and db11 and Vantage V12s 4 flat by Autobild.

User avatar

hostboy  10m ago

In my humble opinion the DB11 should accelerate from 100-200 km/h in 6.4 sec, like the Ferrari F40.

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago

The turbo Vanquish will.

User avatar

cosimo  4m ago @Fastedee

it won't feel like an f40, but a boring lexus

User avatar

cosimo  4m ago

to the idiot that gave me thumbs down, when you take away traction and stability out of the aston, this is what you get you doofus

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvHxqYDWe6M

this is nowhere anything close to an f40 experience, you lousy gimp

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

Aston is a better experience you miscreant. It's bad enough to attack American and German cars but this is blasphemy!!!

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

The F40 would be in more pieces as you yourself said great cars crash in the hands of fools. F40 was a turbo V8 this is a 5.9 litre N\A v12. This drunken Frenchman would have died in an F40 or Enzo and you would have said good riddance as well as his cockney trash friend. Plus its a Rapide which correponds to an FF. The Vantage Zagota of the 80' is rarer than the F40, naturally aspirated and more exciting.

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

Ferrari also uses turbos including f40 but while I slightly lament the New Aston engines they are still v12's and sound a lot better than 488.

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

Which of these car makers offers a manual option in the future. Oh you don't like manuals well they will offer a ZF for "purists" like you.

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

The LFA is very high revving,Naturally aspirated and exciting. If it was a v12 it'd be even better. The turbo Vanquish will be slightly better than the LFA but a redesigned N\A v12 would have been better. Caring about fuel economy in low volume cars is silly especially ones with such wealthy customers.

User avatar

cosimo  4m ago @Fastedee

there's too much blabbering in your posts how about a glass of milk mixed with ginger ? none of those junk cars you mentioned can be compared to an f40, wehter it's a v12 from gaydon or a v10 from sumo undie land. they're both slow and have already been forgotten. the latter also being slow as sh|t just trying to play catch up with enzo and carrera gt in performance from back in 2004 lol. those two are worth something but the jap crap well lol only an idiot would invest in one of these slow ass machines that gets eaten by a nissan gtr lololololol

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

Thats why LFAs sell for so little. GTR is awd so it eats a lot of Ferraris but with no grace. LFA is quick and NA. Aston are not the best dynamically but have sound class and a good boot.Jaguar is almost there with Aston as supercharging more natural than turbos. Ferraris and Alfas are amazing compared to other Italian technology. The Carrera and Enzo are not in the LFA or Vanquishes segment. I'd put the Enzo against the Valkyrie any day or an f430 against a Vanquish S once a real outfit test the Vanquish. Ferraris are great but Astons are for the classiest and toughest gentlemen. Slow? Hardly. U must ve a youtube bench racer

User avatar

cosimo  4m ago @Fastedee

why is lfa priced close to carrera gt with an outdated tranny that showed up in 2011 ? lol

the bond movies aren't haven't any effect on petrol heads, just old geezers that are on the verge of death

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

I'm not in my twenties nor anywhere near my seventies either. Neither shaken or stirred by your comment lmao

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago @cosimo

The Carrera GT is an incredible car like Many Porsches...funny you said Porshuh? Must have misread comments.

User avatar

Fastedee  10m ago

Sportsauto is so funny they got a 4.0 and 12.2 for the db11 but a 4 4 and 14.8 for the c7 Grand Sport ; not to mention a 6.1 and 19 for the 370 Nismo for the 100 and 200. That's early eighties supercar numbers for the Nismo.

User avatar

FastestLaps  11m ago

DB11 is V12 as well. But it's a brand new turbo engine from ground up. With much better fuel economy, more elasticity and quieter lower RPM operation and all the bells & whistles like cylinder bank deactivation, stop&start etc.

I don't think it has the same throttle response as the n.a. or the same noise level (while it's still a nice V12 sound), but that's the direction everyone else is going.

User avatar

DeDe  11m ago

If I have to choose between this and the DB11 for a across-Europe-trip I would definitely choose the V12... :)

User avatar

FastestLaps  11m ago

The only thing it has over the db11 is the NA engine sound.

I think it has the looks too. Although DB11 is definitely no fail in looks.

But otherwise this car is totally outdated.

User avatar

BR2+  11m ago

You both are out of your minds...

User avatar

saxy  11m ago

The only thing it has over the db11 is the NA engine sound.

User avatar

FastestLaps  11m ago

This car is a total failure in technical terms and everyone who buys this instead of the DB11 is idiot.

HOWEEEEEVEEEER... The way it looks.. The looks make up for it's Ford Mondeo engine and 2008 electronics....

User avatar

Fastedee  4m ago

That Mondeo engine also sounds wicked!! Can't wait for a real outfit to test it.
