correction# ...lack of notes about "nitro"...

Is this site managed by usa permanent residents? If it is not then what is the reason for poor math skills and notes about "nitro" results instead of "regular ones".
Land mile is 1,609 kilometers, nautical is something around 1,8___ kilos.

The 919 Hybrid Evo (the ultimate version of the 919 Hybrid) just set a new world-record on Spa - faster than all the F1-cars. 1.41,770 min.

Amazing how well ICE vehicles perform even under severe restrictions.
I really think that future is electric, but still...
The amount of performance and power exploitable from ICE still seems incredible.

The braking distances are definitely off. Even in low downforce mode, these cars can brake 4+Gs. The typical braking point at the end of the first Mulsanne straight is the 100m board and these lmp1 cars normally are doing 330-340kph there.

But since they introduced limited fuel per lap, cars would lift off and coast a couple seconds before the corner instead

A legend, an amazing display of technology and the fastest (I'm talking about lap times and acceleration) prototype of all times: 2015 was the performance peak and the 919 was the absolute king.

This is (obviously) a race car and one in three series of allowed race cars/bikes for Fastestlaps.com - Formula 1, MotoGP and WEC.

Back in the day, if cars weren't street-legal, they were removed from this site.
