The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG S (W205) did 1:22.60, and this was from the episode Series 27 Episode 2, same where the Model 3 did 1:21.50

Not production cars, but here are some reference lap times that Top gear just mentioned.

Mclaren 720s GT3X: 1:07.2
Ferrari FXXK: 1:08.1
Pagani Zonda R: 1:08.5
Aston DBR9: 1:08.6
Ferrari FXX: 1:10.7

However, the FXXK and GT3X are faster thanks to the added tarmac run off areas for the last 3 corners. In fact, the whole board of modern cars all benefit from the added tarmac.

also bear in mind that the FXXK and GT3X get a good headstart by having better launch systems off of a standing start.

The fastest time at the Top Gear track was 59 sec with the Stig driving a 2004 F1 Renault with a NA V10 engine producing around 900 hp. Acceleration figures 0-240 km/h in 6 sec.

Ferrari turned up at the Top Gear track with 5 technicians? lol whereas the GT2RS was driven by one of the crew to the track and back. Yet another reminder that you can take lap times with a grain of salt pfft

had a few damp patches, but 85% of the lap was on dry ground. No standing water or visible spray. Wouldn't have made much difference. The F1 car that did it in 59s had a much wetter track.

the corvette ZR1's lap time should have a W by it seeing as it was a wet lap!!!! I like your site but it seems like what ever type of Corvette gets tested it never gets any kind of benefit of the doubt.Corvettes have consistently been top 1% when it comes to handling and pure power, so when ever their is any kind of comparison test its always the lowest version of said vetted vs the highest optioned car that already exceeds the Vettes cosy by double or even triple, lets start keeping it real. Corvette's are by far the best car by far when it comes to bang for the buck, so I cant wait for the day they make a Vetted that at least costs 150,000 grand .im guessing it will be the best hyper car made and still be well the 1,000,000 car they will have to compare it too.... Corvette's kick ass on level playing files like leman,daytona, Sebring etc....
